Keeping Her Tryst With History
The Times of India, August 11, 1998
“During an interview in Chennai, Dr. Kirti Narain, Project Director, Indian Council of Social Science Research, talks about her recent project where she uncovers the veil of anonymity surrounding scores of women- royals, aristocrats, courtesans, and commoners- who participated in the Revolt of 1857.”

I have known Arohini for many years. Her work at ISB is well regarded and she has contributed significantly to ISB’s Harvard case series. Her writing skills are worth a mention and I recommend her as an excellent case writer who meets deadlines, remains self-motivated, and sees the project through to completion.
Writer’s World is an amazing set of people. I worked with Arohini to develop a teaching case, which later won an international award. Arohini is inquisitive, diligent, and extremely passionate about research, perfect qualities to have in a case-writer. She has fine writing skills to bring the case facts alive. Loved the experience and looking forward to the next project with them!
I write this to strongly recommend Arohini Narain who has been working with me on a case study. The quality of her work, and ability to conduct independent research, was exemplary. She demonstrated great creativity and enthusiasm in visualizing the development of the case. Serious and cogent research is an important aspect of academic writing, and Arohini possesses this acumen. I am impressed by her writing skills and command over the language.
When I was at ISB I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Narain on a case study of CSR in Raigarh District. She combined writing and editing brilliance with a deep appreciation of the situation of the case as well as the role and challenges of the protagonist in a fairly complex setting. The resulting case study was widely appreciated, and in no small measure because of her contribution to it.
I worked with Arohini when I was Managing Editor at Biodiversity Journal, published by Biodiversity Conservancy International in partnership with Taylor & Francis Journals in the UK. Over the past several years she provided writing and content services. The work was promptly delivered in a professional manner, was of excellent quality and at a reasonable cost. I recommend the services of Writer’s World for anyone looking for consistent and reliable writing services.
Ms. Arohini Narain handled language classes in 2015 for a group of LIBA’s students to help them with pan-India placements. Students found her classes very useful and appreciated the excellent teaching material she had taken pains to prepare. She was also a very friendly and approachable teacher. LIBA would like to work with her again whenever similar requirements arise in future.
I had the pleasure of working with Arohini and her team at Writer’s World on a few projects. Their commitment towards a project and ability to articulate the points is commendable. They spend quality time in understanding the needs of their audience and give their best to produce quality output that are easy to understand.
